Questions
You'll need a valid South Carolina marriage license before the ceremony. South Carolina does not require you to be a resident of the state to obtain a marriage license. After your ceremony, I’ll complete the officiant portion of your marriage license and make sure you know exactly what comes next.
As soon as you have your date, time, and location in mind, I recommend reaching out. Popular dates can fill quickly, but I’m happy to accommodate shorter-notice ceremonies whenever my schedule allows.
Absolutely! Depending on the ceremony package you choose, we can incorporate personal vows, meaningful readings, special traditions, or other details that reflect your relationship. For personalized packages, we’ll work together to create a ceremony that feels natural, personal, and true to you.
No. South Carolina does not require witnesses to be present for your marriage ceremony or to sign your marriage license.
A wedding rehearsal is included with The Sweetgrass Experience package. If you choose another ceremony package and would like me to attend your rehearsal, please ask about availability and options.
